Speaking about the new formation Tom Montgomery, Founder of the Association said: “We are all excited about the formation of the Group. By marking high standards in the sector, the excellent reputation our members have earned, will be protected. By grouping different contract furniture companies, as members we will also benefit from a mutually-ambitious support network.”
ICONf member, Knut Klimmek of Klimmek-Henderson, said: "Internationally Irish Contract furniture-makers are demanding a high-level of interest. The aim of the association is to strengthen our market position on an international level, to promote the Association's design talent and to present and maintain the standards and qualities of Irish manufactured contract furniture."
By combining their talents, the Association will cater for the entire needs of the contract sector. Klimmek-Henderson's furniture for boardrooms and reception areas is designed and made to order. This area of speciality is complemented by Farrell Brothers' exceptional office furniture solutions and Thomas Montgomery's office and contract seating. Castle T Furniture specialises in office interiors. Castlebrook Furniture & Design offers a wide range of be-spoke case-goods, designed specifically for the hospitality sector.

Association for Irish Contract Furniture-Makers is formed
ICONf, The Association of Irish Contract Furniture manufacturers has announced its formation. This, the first group of its kind in Ireland, is an alliance between fellow Irish manufacturers and service providers, specific to the growing Irish office and contract furniture sector. ICONf is established to promote the highest standards in manufacture, design and service within the Irish contract furniture arena.
ICONf is made up of a group of like-minded companies within the growing Irish furniture industry. Already the association has attracted renowned Irish contract furniture manufacturers Castle T Furniture, Farrell Bros., Castlebrook Furniture and Design, Klimmek-Henderson and Thomas Montgomery Limited.
